We aim to provide support to help you make the
most of your course. If you have difficulties with any aspects
of your learning, then we would like to help.
If you have a specific learning difficulty or
disability, problems with English and Maths, are deaf or hearing
impaired, or missing the essential skills needed to complete your
course, our Additional Support team are on hand
to give you assistance whenever you need it.
Our committed team can provide you with:
- the skills you need to make your assignments fantastic
- essential study skills to help you realise your full
potential
- support to help you develop your skills for further study
- specialist equipment, adapted course material and other
resources, including an Assistive Technology Centre which has
specialist equipment and software designed to make your learning
experience as productive and positive as possible
- equipment loan, where appropriate i.e. laptops, dictaphones
- special exam arrangements, if required
- support with accessing the College if you have a
disability
- dyslexia, deaf and hearing support specialists
- specialist advice on a range of learning difficulties and/or
disabilities
