Information for school leavers
If you’re currently studying for
GCSEs or about to leave school, check out our wide range of
specialist courses – you don’t want to miss out on learning in
surroundings like these! Equine yard, lakes, a working farm, masses
of woodland, a shoot? Check! If you would like to spend more time
applying what you study in the classroom to practical work in the
actual environment, then find the course that’s right for you
now!
Coming to College can be a big step
- and there's loads to find out about. The main things first
though:
Fees
The majority of our full and
part-time courses are free if you are aged between 16 and 18 years
old. Take a look at our fees and financial
support section for more info.
Travel
We know it can be tricky to get to
Shuttleworth – but we don’t want anything to get in the way of your
success while studying at College so transport is available from
pick-up points around Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and
Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas. Have a read of our travel section to find out more.
Accommodation
Our on-campus accommodation offers you a stepping stone to
living independently – you will not only have the opportunity to
study in the stunning surroundings, but to live here and enjoy all
the social opportunities that are open to residential students too!
