Halls of residence

As a student of Shuttleworth you will have the opportunity to live on-campus in the halls of residence. There are a number of single study rooms available on a first-come first-served basis. As a residential student, you will have access to the common room, which is a great place to socialise with friends, watch DVDs or play Wii on the large flat screen, and cook in the attached kitchen. The common room is open to residential students from 5.00pm until 11.30pm during the week and at weekends, so there will be plenty of time to relax in a comfortable, social space in the evening.

Food and drink

Students eat in the Garden Restaurant where a variety of good healthy food is on offer at affordable student prices! The meal allowance included in the residential accommodation fee can be redeemed in the restaurant and themed days are also really popular – they add a bit of variety to the menu. Special dietary requirements can also be catered for and there is always a vegetarian option available for residential students eating their meals in the restaurant. At weekends the Halls of Residence are on a self-catered basis only.

The Tavern Bar is open on Monday and Thursday evenings and provides a great social centre for the resident community. Students under 18 years of age are only permitted to purchase non-alcoholic beverages.
