To help maintain a learning environment where your son or
daughter can perform to their highest potential, we have a
Code of
Conduct in place that covers behaviour, attendance, and
performance, and which aims to protect the standards of
the College.
Our Code of Conduct states that students
at Shuttleworth College are required to treat everyone
with respect, act with consideration for the College
environment and the rights of other College users, attend
timetabled sessions and arrive on time, and work hard and complete
all assignments within specified deadlines.
Any students who breach this Code, which may
include behaving in a disruptive, aggressive, intimidating or
unruly way towards fellow students, as well as causing malicious
damage or theft, or consuming illegal or dangerous substances, will
face disciplinary action.
In cases of the above, the College will follow
our disciplinary procedure, with several increasingly severe
warnings being issued for repeated Code breaches before we consider
suspension or exclusion from the College.
