As part of your learning you will have the opportunity to take
part in events and competitions.
William Colebrook won gold at the East of England Show for his
‘star garden’ (below) and he is now planning to set up his own
business as a self-employed landscaper. His fellow horticulture
students Jack Sharpe, Sam Gibbs, Nick Bitten and Adam Knibbs also
exhibited and achieved silver and bronze awards.

Caroline Corkett won the 2011 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS)
Hector Harrison Award for the highest score in the country on the
RHS Level 3 course. Our other students won the accolade of joining
five other colleges around the country to compete in a landscaping
and design competition which was held the Ideal Home Show in
2011.
