Equine Centre
Our equine centre, Mount Pleasant, includes stables and two
indoor arenas to ensure that you have real life facilities to
develop your practical horse management skills and progress into a
successful career working with horses.
You will study horse husbandry and care along with science and
business management units. There is also the opportunity for you to
ride a range of well schooled, high-quality horses.
Other working environments that Shuttleworth College provides
you with are a working farm and a number of lakes, mirroring what
you will find in many workplaces. You will be encouraged to
experience all aspects of animal management and if you study horse
care you will take part in routine yard duties on a weekly
basis.
