Course fees & discounts


Fees

The fee listed in the course entry includes:

  • The course tuition fee charged by the College. If the course is longer than a year you will need to pay this fee annually – for more details call Enquiries & Guidance on 01767 626222.
  • The cost of any exam and registration fee charged by the exam board.
  • For courses longer than five days delivered at the College, the fee also includes a £20 membership fee. This enables us to provide learning resources and other services required to run your course. The College membership fee is an annual fee that runs from 1 August to 31 July each year, so you do not need to pay it again if you take more than one course during this period. If the course is longer than one year you will need to pay this fee annually.

Concession fees

The concession fee listed under the course entry is the fee you will pay if you are eligible for 100% discount on your tuition fee. All courses that have a concession fee are completely free to 16-18 year olds. If you are over 18 you may be entitled to pay a concession fee if:

  • You are in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance or Employment & Support Allowance (Work Related Activity Group).
  • The course is your first full level 2 qualification and you are aged 19 years or above on the start date of the course.
  • The course is your first full level 3 qualification and you are aged 19-24 on the start date of the course.

Equipment, materials & other costs

For some of the courses you will need to pay separately for books, equipment or specialist clothing.

International students

If you have been a resident in the UK for three years or more, and have settled status, then you pay the fee listed in this guide. If you have not been a resident in the UK for the last three years, or have a limit on your stay here, please call our Enquiries & Guidance team first on 01767 626222 as different fees may apply.
